Every Day Is Christmas!

For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received (all had a share and we were all supplied with) one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift (heaped) upon gift.   John 1:16

It’s Christmas every day for the believer! Every single day we are in awe of our mighty Father in heaven. The blessings He bestows, the beauty all around us, the mercies He grants.

Even in the midst of trials we are allowed to lean and look to Him- our purpose and strength. There are gifts we receive without ever seeing them. Countless times we are spared during the day.

Blessings, gifts and favor heaped on us! His grace! Don’t you ever say to yourself, “Christ died for me. Isn’t that enough?”

Yet we still look and seek and request more. We honestly don’t need a thing when you think about all we already enjoy.

Every good gift and every perfect (free, large, full) gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of all (that gives) light, in (the shining of) Whom there can be no variation (rising of setting) of shadow cast by His turning (as in an eclipse).

And it was of His own (free) will that He gave us birth (as sons) by (His) Word of Truth, so that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures (a sample of what He created to be consecrated to Himself).  James 1:17-18

Father God,

Thank you so  much for hearing our prayers. For redeeming us through the blood of your son Jesus Christ. And as if that wasn’t enough, giving us so many blessings.

Let all you give flow freely out from us that we might share your love with others. I pray Father that those whose hearts are turned from you would feel the wonder of all you provide and would begin to let down those walls and open their ears to hear you.

Amen!
